Old-fashioned lanterns and carved pumpkins will lead costumed trick-or-treaters through pathways of graves and ghouls at Night of the Living Farm at the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead, 13800 Switzer, Oct. 16-17. 

Night of the Living Farm is also held on Oct. 23-24.


There are all kinds of activities for children. Activities map

From 6 to 9 p.m., families with children of all ages can participate in a:

  • Mad science;
  • Pirate ship races;
  • Fairy Princess party;
  • Fortune teller;
  • Haunted barn;
  • Flashlight scavenger hunt;
  • Haunted horse-drawn hayride;
  • Non-scary hayride;
  • Tractor pulled wagon ride (for little trick-or-treaters);
  • Marshmallow roast; and 
  • Halloween dancing stage.

Food & Novelties

In addition to regular concessions, the Farmstead will have grilled bratwursts, hot dogs, cider, caramel apples and glow-in-the-dark necklaces for sale.
