Old-fashioned lanterns and carved pumpkins will lead costumed trick-or-treaters through pathways of graves and ghouls at Night of the Living Farm at the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead, 13800 Switzer, Oct. 16-17.
Night of the Living Farm is also held on Oct. 23-24.
There are all kinds of activities for children.
From 6 to 9 p.m., families with children of all ages can participate in:
- Mad science
- Pirate ship races
- Fairy Princess party
- Fortune teller
- Haunted barn
- Flashlight scavenger hunt
- Haunted horse-drawn hayride
- Non-scary hayride
- Tractor pulled wagon ride (for little trick-or-treaters)
- Marshmallow roast
- Halloween dancing stage
In addition to regular concessions, the Farmstead will have grilled bratwursts, hot dogs, cider, caramel apples and glow-in-the-dark necklaces for sale.
