Old-fashioned lanterns and carved pumpkins will lead costumed trick-or-treaters through pathways of graves and ghouls at Night of the Living Farm at the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead, 13800 Switzer, Oct. 17-18.
Night of the Living Farm is also held on Oct. 24-25.
There are all kinds of activities for children. Activities map
From 6 to 9 p.m., families with children of all ages can participate in a:
- Mad science;
- Pirate ship races;
- Fairy Princess party;
- Fortune teller;
- Haunted barn;
- Flashlight scavenger hunt;
- Haunted horse-drawn hayride;
- Non-scary hayride;
- Tractor pulled wagon ride (for little trick-or-treaters);
- Marshmallow roast; and
- Halloween dancing stage.
Food & Novelties
In addition to regular concessions, the Farmstead will have grilled bratwursts, hot dogs, cider, caramel apples and glow-in-the-dark necklaces for sale.
