Building, Land Disturbance and Site Development
The permit fee shall be based on the project valuation of the work by the permit fee multiplier. The permit fee multiplier is .005.
For new commercial and residential structures, the project valuation is calculated using the ICC Building Valuation Data Tables, effective January 1, 2013.
|$0 - $5,000||$30|
For projects other than new structures or miscellaneous, the project valuation shall be provided by the *contractor and is multiplied by the permit fee multiplier.
Fifty percent of the permit fee is required when submitting commercial plans for review. The other 50% is due when the plans are approved and the permit is ready to be issued.
*The valuation furnished by the contractor should include the total value of all the construction work except the value of the land for which the building permit is issued, i.e., land disturbance, site development, building cost, all finish work, landscaping, painting, paving, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, elevators, fire protection equipment, and profit.
