Groups of up to 30 students and their chaperones are invited to a Kansas History Tour at the Farmstead.
This includes a guided tour and historical lessons in our one-room schoolhouse with a school marm, in the Indian Encampment with an interpreter, and at Grandpa Bob's Fishing Pond.
This tour is designed for students in first- through fifth-grade.
There are three tour slots available Monday through Friday, each from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
$5 per child package:
- Use of period costumes
- 8 x 10 black and white class photo
- Schoolhouse lessons
- Indian Encampment
- Fishing
- Lunch (peanut butter and jelly sandwich, chips, fruit snack and drink)
