It's spring - and spring means flowers!

Come on out to the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens to buy your annuals, herbs, perennials, hanging baskets, planters, hostas and more (all are locally grown).

The sale will be held Friday and Saturday, May 9-10, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the Arboretum's "Big Top" tent. The sale will be held rain or shine.

Friends of the Arboretum members can get a sneak preview from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 8 (FOTA members receive a 10 percent discount; you can join anytime to receive the discount).

Hundreds of plants will be available; all are reasonably priced.
