The Public Works Committee decided on Jan. 22 to continue the design of 127th Street from Metcalf to Nall as a four lane standard thoroughfare section.
The project is scheduled for construction in 2010.
As part of the programming for this project, a traffic study was conducted in 2005. The purpose of the study was to evaluate current and projected traffic conditions to develop a recommendation for the appropriate number and types of travel lanes along 127th Street.
- Traffic study (3.4 MB)
- Technical appendix (247 kb)
Included in this study is a discussion of the existing conditions along the study corridor, projected traffic volumes and a recommended configuration.
