Help the Arboretum grow...and have fun too!

There are many volunteer opportunities at the Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, including:

• Gardening ~ planting, weeding and general maintenance in the gardens and wooded areas;
• Greeting guests in the visitor center;
• Growing flowers in the greenhouse that are planted in the Arboretum;
• Helping restore the prairie ~ the Arboretum's prairie area is currently being restored by volunteers, who are clearing unwanted vegetation and reseeding with native grasses;
• Helping with activities and events ~ plant sales, Arts for Kids, the Luminary Walk and more; and
• Dabbling in special interests ~ photography, birds and more!
