thoroughfares title
The revenue from the 1/8 cent sales tax is used to fund a thoroughfare street improvement program, which will widen thoroughfares and enhance traffic management systems and traffic flow on these main corridors in the city.

Constructing two-lane unimproved thoroughfares to the city’s four-lane standard and widening existing four-lane thoroughfares to six lanes relieves traffic congestion and improves safety.
