2009:
- 143rd Street, Quivira to Switzer - This project includes construction of a four-lane divided thoroughfare with curbs, left turn lanes, storm sewers, sidewalks and street lights.
- Switzer, 143rd to 151st streets - The project includes reconstruction of the current unimproved two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided thoroughfare with curbs, left turn lanes, storm sewers, sidewalks and street lights.
- College Boulevard, Pflumm to US Highway 69 - This project will widen College Boulevard from four to six lanes.
- 2009 Residential Street Program - Neighborhood street improvements include new storm sewers, curbs, asphalt pavement, driveway approaches, sidewalks, and street lights. Streets include:
- 52nd Street, Hardy to Newton
- Lowell, 52nd Street to 54th Terrace
- Newton, 52nd Street to 54th Terrace
- 52nd Street, Newton to Lowell
- Hardy, 52nd Street to 54th Terrace
- 54th Terrace, Goodman to Foster
- 81st Street, Mackey to Hemlock
- Hadley, 81st to 83rd streets

2010:
- 127th Street, Metcalf to Nall - This project includes reconstruction of the current unimproved two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided thoroughfare with curbs, left turn lanes, storm sewers, sidewalks and street lights.
- 159th Street, Antioch Road to Metcalf Avenue- This project includes reconstruction of the current unimproved two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided thoroughfare with curbs, left turn lanes, storm sewers, sidewalks and street lights. New bridges will be built over U.S. 69 to accommodate future U.S. 69 widening and the possible construction of an interchange.
- 159th Street, Antioch Road to Quivira - This project includes reconstruction of the current unimproved two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided thoroughfare with curbs, left turn lanes, storm sewers, sidewalks and street lights.
- Antioch Road, I-435 to 119th Street -
This project will widen Antioch from four to six lanes.

- 143rd, Pflumm to Quivira - This project will widen 143rd Street from two lanes to a standard four lane thoroughfare with curbs, storm sewers, sidewalks and street lights. This project will be administered with the city of Olathe.
- 159th Street, Quivira to Pflumm - This project includes reconstruction of the current unimproved two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided thoroughfare with curbs, left turn lanes, storm sewers, sidewalks and street lights.
2012:
- Switzer Road, 151st to 159th streets - This project includes reconstruction of the current unimproved two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided thoroughfare with curbs, left turn lanes, storm sewers, sidewalks and street lights.
