Camp Inferno is a supervised week-long overnight camp designed to give teen-age girls a taste of a career in firefighting and Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

By empowering young women to become more confident and skilled, Camp Inferno uses the skills and challenges of firefighting as a vehicle for leadership training and team building.

This experience will incorporate the same basic principles that the professional firefighters of Johnson County follow each day as they protect our community.

The 2008 camp is June 8-13
Applications were due April 25

The camp is hosted by the Overland Park Fire Department and co-sponsored by Consolidated Fire District No. 2, the Leawood, Shawnee and Olathe fire departments and Johnson County Med-Act.
