Stonegate Pool closed at the end of the 2008 season so construction could begin on a new $4.3 million facility. It is expected to open in June 2009.

• Walls are formed on the new pool and structural work has been completed on the pool floor.
• Crews are pouring the floor of the new pool this week (Nov. 25).
• Site utilities, including sanitary, storm and water service, are being installed through this week.
• Plumbers have finished work on the mechanical building; electricians are just about done with underground work on the same building.
• The floor of the shower/restroom building and the mechanical building have been poured.
