"Your place on the golf course is directly behind the group in front of you. Not directly in front of the group behind you!"
On the Tee:
- Hit when ready and safe; do not use the honor system.
- Shorter hitters can hit first.
- Tee-off as soon as the group ahead is clear.
- Carry an extra ball in your pocket.
On the Fairway:
- Hit when ready and safe; do not use the honor system.
- Take appropriate clubs to your ball and hit without delay.
- Each group member should watch the other player's shots.
- Limit search for lost balls to three minutes.
- When you've reached double par, pick up and place ball on green.
- When driving a cart, drop your partner at his/her ball, then continue to yours.
On the Green:
- Place your clubs between the green and the next tee.
- Study your putt while others are putting.
- Continue putting until holed out.
- Leave the green immediately after holing out and proceed to the next tee.
- Complete your scorecard when off the green and on the next tee.
We believe the majority of golfers who use our courses would prefer to play a round of golf in under 4½ hours during non-peak times and less than 4½ hours during peak play on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Player assistants will monitor the pace of play and inform the duty golf professional of potential slow play situations. It is the players' responsibility to keep pace with the group ahead of them. Golfers making starting times may be paired with other golfers seeking to enjoy the facilities. Even though there may be unfamiliarity with the players in the group, it becomes the groups' responsibility to set an acceptable pace consistent with the conditions on that particular day.
