MEMBERSHIP
Any person who resides within or owns real property within the boundaries of Young's Park Community is eligible for membership.
BOUNDARY
Boundaries shall be defined as follows: South: 79th Street; North: 75th Street; West: Antioch Road; East: Lowell.
PURPOSE
Young's Park Community is organized exclusively for educational and charitable purposes. The purpose of the organization is to promote a better neighborhood and community through group actions.
DUES
There shall be no dues assessed to the members.
OFFICERS
The officers shall be chairperson or co-chairpersons, vice-chairperson, secretary and treasurer. The office of chairperson must be filled by someone who has been on the Executive Committee for at least one year.
COMMITTEES
The membership and/or chairperson may establish committees as necessary at any meeting. The term of office shall be one year.
STEERING COMMITTEE
The officers, committee chairs and block representatives shall constitute the Steering Committee and may act for the group between meetings.
MEETINGS
Regular meetings will be held on the third Monday of every month at 7 p.m., or at such time as agreed upon by a quorum of the Steering Committee.
QUORUM
At least 50% of the officers and committee chairs of the Steering Committee membership must be present to conduct official business. A minimum of five members must be in attendance.
AMENDMENTS
The bylaws may be amended at any regular meeting. Two-thirds of those members in attendance must approve the amendment.
RESIGNATION AND REMOVAL
An officer may resign at any time by giving notice to the highest ranking officer. Any officer may be removed from office after three (3) consecutive unjustified absences by that office. Any vacancies so occurring shall be promptly filled for the balance of the term by the Steering Committee, subject to approval by the general membership within sixty (60) days.
