Johnson County City Mill Levy Rates for 2008 Budgets

The Governing Body has been dedicated to maintaining a low property tax rate, while sustaining a high quality level of city services.

The city has not raised the General Fund mill levy, which supports general governmental services, since the early 1990s. As the following table demonstrates, Overland Park has the lowest mill levy rate of any city in Johnson County.
