As part of the 2003 Budget development the 2003-2007 CIP, adopted in February 2002 for budget planning purposes, was updated in August 2002.

The 2003-2007 Capital Plan totals $227.4 million, an increase of $23 million over the 2002-2006 CIP.

This CIP includes $41 million of funding for projects to be constructed and/or financed in 2003. Some of the projects included began prior to 2003, but will be completed and therefore financed in 2003.

City funding sources, including debt and pay-as-you-go resources from the City's Capital Improvements Fund, will pay for 46% of plan funding.

The remaining 54% will be provided by non-City sources including federal, state, county, other city and developer funding.
