The 2002 Budget includes the 2002-2006 CIP, developed by the Governing Body and staff during late 2000 and early 2001.

The five-year program totals $204 million.

This CIP includes $42 million of funding for projects to be constructed and/or financed in 2002. Some of the projects included in 2002 began in a prior year, but will be completed and therefore financed in 2002.

City funding sources, including debt and pay-as-you-go resources from the City’s Capital Improvements Fund, will pay for 56% of funding for 2002.

The remaining 44% will be provided by non-City sources including federal, county, other city and developer funding.
