This division of the Planning and Development Services Department is responsible for public infrastructure construction plan review and inspection of privately funded public infrastructure projects.
Engineering Services also works with other divisions and outside customers on all aspects of the development process. This division reviews site-related issues such as storm water and floodplain management, along with each project's coordination with public infrastructure.
The Building Safety Division and the Current Planning Division are also involved in the development process. Each has its own requirements. Please refer to the Development Handbook for requirements and responsibilities of each division.
Engineering Services should not be confused with the Public Works Engineering Department, which is responsible for publicly funded construction as well as maintenance of publicly maintained infrastructure.
