This board is entrusted with investment and disbursement of the Police Department Retirement Plan assets, a defined benefit plan for commissioned officers.
The board ensures that the plan conforms to IRS regulations, that assets earn maximum returns without sacrificing security and that participants are assured of receiving their vested portion on retirement/termination.
Meetings are usually held in the Police Chief's Conference Room, 12400 Foster (map). The board meets the second Wednesday of the second month of every quarter (February, May, August, November) beginning at 8 a.m.
