This council studies environmental issues, advises the Governing Body and Community Development Committee on issues of concern and develops suggestions, supports and promotes new and existing programs and develops educational programs.

It usually meets in Conference Room 2 of the Myron E. Scafe Building, 8500 Antioch (map), at 6 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month.
