A valid license is required for any person to sell cereal malt beverage* or non-alcoholic malt beverages within the city limits. City Council approval is required.

There are three different applications, depending upon the entity of the applicant (.pdf files):
Price:
There are two classifications:
- General Retailer - Place of business selling CMB or nonalcoholic malt
beverages at retail for consumption on the licensed premises.
$100 for an annual license.
- Limited Retailer - Place of business selling only at retail, CMB or nonalcoholic
malt beverages in original and unopened containers and not for consumption
on the licensed premises.
$50 for an annual license.
The City also collects an additional $25 state fee for each application.

*CMB includes any fermented but undistilled liquor brewed or made from malt or a mixture of malt and/or malt substitute that does not contains more than 3.2% alcohol by weight.
