Westlinks Lottery

The Overland Park Golf CourseEach spring, the city has a lottery to determine a standing tee time reservation for a five-some on Saturday and/or Sunday morning during the First Wave on the Westlinks course.

The lottery winner must commit to five players each week, March 27 to Oct. 29. Because of the continual change of sunrise, the designated tee time will not be hour and minute specific, but instead will be "first tee time, second tee time," etc.

Alterations to the tee time must be made through the Sykes/Lady Overland Park Golf Course, 913-897-3809, ext. 2, one week before the day of play.

All Patron members and Overland Park residents are eligible to participate in the lottery.

  • Participants must have a current Patron card or a current valid driver's license with an Overland Park address.
  • OP business owners must present ownership papers and photo identification to the golf operations manager by Jan. 31 to be included in the lottery.
  • Patrons who had a 2009 standing reservation do not need to participate in the 2010 drawing, but they must advise the golf shop if they wish to retain that time and pay the deposit.

A refundable $180 deposit must accompany each application. The only time deductions will be made from the deposit is in the event of a No Show.
