Roe Pool
The future of Roe Pool is currently being discussed. On Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, Ward Two Councilmembers Curt Skoog and Paul Lyons conducted a town hall meeting. More than 70 people attended.
Comments and suggestions shared at the town hall meeting will be provided to all the members of the City Council's Community Development Committee on Wednesday, Oct. 5, for further discussion.
Set among trees in a pleasant park atmosphere, Roe has water depths ranging from 3-feet-6-inches to 12 feet. It also has a:
- Small slide;
- Water rock climbing wall;
- One meter diving board; and
- Youth pool.
The facility also has lots of shade for laying out or relaxing.
