Reservable Shelters
Thirteen of the city's 83 parks have reservable shelters with grills; all other shelters are free and first-come-first-serve during park hours: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily. (see map of park locations)

Reservations
Reservations should be made at least two weeks in advance, and can be completed online (excludes four parks) by phone, 913-895-6390 or dropped off at the Matt Ross Community Center, 8101 Marty Street. There is a $5 permit fee for each reservation; however, that fee is waived if you book online.
