Facility Rental Criteria

The Overland Park Soccer Complex wants to provide players and coaches with a "world class" playing experience. To do so, teams must comply with the following when renting space at the complex:

1. Field permits (practice, games or tournaments) will not be issued until the following items are complete:
   1. Rental agreement application is filled out completely.
   2. Payment is received in full:
      • Practice (single use): Complete payment
      • Practice (seasonal): 10 percent non-refundable deposit (applied to outstanding balance) for reserved time.
      • League play (single use): complete payment.
      • League play (seasonal): 10 percent non-refundable deposit (applied to outstanding balance) for reserved time. Outstanding balance to be paid 30 days prior to first game of the season.
      • Tournaments: 10 percent non-refundable deposit (applied to outstanding balance) for reserved time, plus tournament fee; outstanding balance to be paid seven days prior to the event.
   3. Adjustments to the number of fields required may be made 30 days prior to the tournament without penalty by informing the soccer complex manager.
   4. Proof of insurance listing the City of Overland Park and the Overland Park Soccer Complex as additionally insured.
   5. Overland Park Soccer Complex Use Agreement is filled out completely.
2. Fields only can be reserved all day or hourly. Subletting of rental space (either partial or entire field) is prohibited. Hourly rental includes access to entire field.
3. Field rental (practice) reservations will be taken on seasonal basis until space filled.
   • Fall season (August-November): taken preceding March 1
   • Winter season (November-March) : taken preceding Sept. 1
   • Spring season (March-May): taken preceding Nov. 1
   • The league representative must submit a practice schedule, including team name, level, etc., to the soccer complex manager at the start of every month.
4. League games: Reservations will be take on seasonal basis
   • Fall season (August-November): taken preceding March 1
   • Winter season (November-March) : taken preceding Sept. 1
   • Spring season (March-May): taken preceding Nov. 1
   • Completed rental agreement and non-refundable security deposit (applied to rental fee) must accompany agreement.
5. Camps/clinics: Field rental reservations can be booked starting 18 months prior
   • Completed rental agreement and non-refundable security deposit (applied to rental fee) must accompany agreement.
6. Tournaments: Field rental reservations can be booked starting 18 months prior
   • Conflicting date requests will be resolved using following criteria:
     1. Number of anticipated out-of-town teams (based on history)
     2. Length of tournament and number of fields required
     3. Number of anticipated teams
   • If no conflict, appropriate tournament and rental application must be completed along with nonrefundable security deposit (applied to rental fee).
7. Tournament host must meet with the Overland Park Convention & Visitor's Bureau to secure hotel rooms and will be asked to ensure all teams stay at those locations.
