Pre-Competitive Swim Team

This team is for the 6 to 10-year-old who can swim 25 meters, but less than 50 meters, without stopping.

Through this program, the swimmer will increase his or her proficiency and overall skill level. During the season, your swimmer may improve to such a degree that the coach may ask him or her to compete on the competitive team. The coach will explain the eligibility rules at that time.

Pre-competitive swimmers may participate in four meets per season. During the meets, pre-competitive swimmers may swim in all events, and they will receive a ribbon for participation.

Practice is from 7:30 to 9 a.m. weekdays, during the summer, at Young's Pool, 77th and Antioch.
