3:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8 - Snow crews are applying material to arterial and collector streets as light snow falls and temperatures begin to drop well below freezing. Drivers are urged to use caution when traveling.
Due to a number of accidents, Police Department officials are asking drivers involved in non-injury accidents to walk in reports to either the Mryon E. Scafe Justice Center, 8500 Antioch, or W. Jack Sanders Justice Center, 12400 Foster.
If you are involved in an injury accident, call 9-1-1.

Golf Courses
The City of Overland Park operates two golf courses: Sykes/Lady Overland Park and St. Andrews. These courses are among the most popular in the metropolitan area because of their affordability, playability, design and amenities.
Both courses offer online tee times as well as extensive adult and junior leagues/ programs, and group reservations for golf outings/tournaments.
The golf courses are affiliated with several local, regional and national organizations, including the USGA, Kansas Golf Association, KC Golf Association, Kansas Women's Golf Association and Executive Women's Golf Association.
Sykes/Lady Overland Park Golf Course
One of the most popular and best maintained courses in the area, Sykes/Lady OPGC offers 27 regulation golf holes and a 9-hole Par 3 course.

This no-fee system provides a quick and easy way to reserve, confirm or cancel tee time reservations at both golf courses, seven days a week.
