Farmstead Gardens

Farmstead GardensThe Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead has a large variety of gardens, featuring plants, trees, flowers and even vegetables. The gardens include:

  • The Master Garden's area near the petting pen;
  • The Kiwanis Repose Garden in the nature trail near the birds of prey; and
  • Beverly's Butterfly Garden, also in the nature trail near the birds of prey.

Beverly's Butterfly Garden features butterfly plantings, houses and benches, and includes a bird watching area and tree-covered trail where you'll hear the melodic sound of our wind chime garden.

The Kiwanis Repose Garden is a quiet place to relax and includes willow branch benches, shade plants, and a great view of the bison and longhorn.

The gardens add a burst of color to the Farmstead's surroundings.
