The City of Overland Park has seven pools: six outdoor and one indoor.
Three outdoor pools; Bluejacket, Marty and Roe, close for the season after Sunday, Aug. 10. Weekday hours for the other pools; Stonegate, Tomahawk Ridge Aquatics Center and Young's, change after Aug. 10 from noon to 8 p.m. to 4-8 p.m.; noon to 8 p.m. weekends and Labor Day. All outdoor pools close after Labor Day, Sept. 1.
Memberships and daily passes are available for purchase.
The Matt Ross Community Center has four different pools with many recreational features, available to members and non-members.
Visitors looking to access the city's pools are required to show their membership card or pay a daily admittance fee.
Swimming lessons are offered at all outdoor pools as well as the indoor pool.
The swim and dive teams are for students, ages 6-18.
All outdoor pools open daily, noon to 8 p.m.
