Birthday Party Rules and Guidelines

If you're hosting a party at the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead, you are welcome to bring your own birthday cake, food and decorations, but balloons must stay in the party corral. Outside feed for the animals is not allowed.

Admission fees for the first 40 people are included when the party is scheduled for Friday, Saturday or Sunday; 1 and under free. Monday through Thursday, there is no admission fee.

Activity Tickets

• Tickets do not need to be used the day of the party; they are good all season.
• Additional tickets can be purchased for $2.50 each at the concession stand; please have your permit.

Permits/Refunds

• There is a $5 permit fee. To get a permit, call 913-895-6390; the fee is waived if you sign up online with a credit card.
• Request for party corral refunds must be submitted in writing at least 14 business days in advance of the rental date. All refunds will be equal to the total paid minus the permit fee.

Inclement Weather

• Only the Farmstead supervisor can authorize the cancellation of a reservation due to inclement weather.
• Closings/cancellations notifications will be sent out via RainedOut (free service) as well as be recorded on 913-895-5020, option 3. If you want to talk directly with the Farmstead, call 913-897-1042, Ext. 28.
