Arboretum Photo Contest

Celebrate beauty and capture the wonder of the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens in our annual Photography Contest.

Photos must have been taken at the Arboretum. Read rules.  One submission per person, per seasonal contest.

• May 1 - July 31
• Aug. 1 - Oct. 31
  

Submit Photos

• Digital submissions only to: arboretumphotocontest@gmail.com
  • Format: .jpeg RGB format, file size approx. 500 Kb to 1Mb.
  • (If you don't have image editing software on your computer, you can use free online resources to shrink your files. Files must be titled with the name (first/last) of the photographer and age if under 18. No date stamping on photo images.
    

Judges will select winners, and prizes will be awarded for Best in Show, Best in Category (scenic, flora and fauna, features, people), Youth and Honorable Mention.

Winning photos will be used for promotion of the Arboretum, and for fundraising, publicity, advertising and other purposes.

NOTE: Photography permit requirements do not apply to the Photography Contest.
