Neighborhood Streets Reconstruction Program
The Neighborhood Streets Reconstruction Program (NSRP), initiated in 2010 to reconstruct existing streets that have come to the end of their useful life, replaces the Residential Street Program (1988-2010) that converted ditch streets into curb and gutter streets. The NSRP will include asphalt pavement replacement, driveway approaches, as well as sidewalks, storm sewers, and street lights. It will give new life to the existing streets for another 50 years.
This program will continue in the city's investment to maintain and enhance high-quality public infrastructure.
The program upgrades are funded by the city's Capital Improvements Program with the 1/8 cent sales tax revenues.
