Road Construction/Public Projects

Each year, the city completes a number of road construction/public improvement projects that include thoroughfares, residential streets, bridges, traffic signals and storm water drainage. The projects are paid for with money from the Capital Improvements Program.

The benefits of these projects will be significant, but it will come with some traffic delays and temporary disruptions. To avoid these, check out the city’s traffic web cameras and interactive Road Closure Map before you head out.
