The Home Improvement Partnership Program makes below market rate loans available to Overland Park residents who own and occupy a one or two-unit family dwelling (income guidelines apply).
The minimum loan amount is $1,000; $15,000 maximum. The city has committed approximately $50,000 to offset a portion of the interest on loans.
Qualifying improvements
Repairs or replacements to siding, fences, decks, screened porches, garage doors, windows, roofing, driveways, sidewalks, shutters, awnings, gutters, landscaping, retaining walls, existing detached structures and painting projects.
Loan applications are available at four Overland Park Valley View State Bank locations: 7500 W. 95th St., 8550 College Blvd., 10300 Mastin and 151st and Hardy. Pre-approval or denial is determined by loan officials within 24 hours.
