Future Road Construction/Stormwater Projects

Overland Park RoadEngineers in the city's Public Works Department are responsible for the design and construction of projects included in the Capital Improvements Program. These projects include thoroughfare and residential street upgrades, intersection improvements as well as storm sewer repairs.

The following projects are scheduled for construction in 2012 and 2013:

2012:

  • Quivira Road, 99th to 105th streets
  • Quivira Road, College Boulevard to 119th Street
  • 2012 Major Storm Sewer Repair

 

2013:

  • 159th Street, Quivira to Antioch roads
  • 2013 Major Storm Sewer Repair
  • Stanley Storm Drainage Improvements - 151st Terrace and Metcalf Avenue
