Overland Park, KS - On Tuesday, June 1, crews will close 143rd Street from Quivira to Switzer for thoroughfare construction.

Construction will be from June 1 to Oct. 15. All side roads will be closed at 143rd for the duration of construction.

The project includes a divided four-lane roadway, storm sewer, sidewalk, bike path, street lighting and traffic signals at the 143rd and Quivira intersection and the 143rd and Switzer intersection.

Total cost of construction is $4,301,826.17.

Alternate routes are 135th Street and 151st Street.
