Looking for something fun, exciting, and FREE to do with your dad/family this weekend? How about visiting Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead.
June 18, 19, and 20 the Farmstead (at 138th and Switzer in Overland Park) will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no admission fee. Come on out and visit our Dairy Barn, one-room School House, Indian Encampment, and our newest addition, Ben's Bank, and more.
Squeals of "Yee-Haw" and "Giddy-Up" can often be heard from the party corrals at Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead as families gather to celebrate a birthday. Sunny, the bison, may stroll by your corral or Beau, the Long Horn, may stop by for a look to see what all the fuss is about.
We're not sure if it is the smell of fresh hay or the sounds of cows mooing, but the Farmstead's relaxed atmosphere creates the perfect stage for a party. Party packages include:
Monday - Thursday - $100
Party Corral for 2 1/5 hours
20 activity tickets (good for one goat bottle, or pony ride, or fishing pole, or mining)
T-shirt and Hat for Birthday Child
Friday-Sunday - $150*
