OK, OK, no singing today.

But hey, it's been a while since we could say we've got the sun in our eyes or on our shoulders with consecutive days of the bright light in the sky.

Regardless, warm weather means outdoor opportunities in Overland Park.

Opportunities in Overland Park include two golf courses; more than 75 city parks; miles and miles of bike/hike trails; games at the Overland Park Soccer Complex; Thursday's opening of the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead; summer softball leagues; a Spring Egg Trail and Arbor Day Tree give-away, both on Saturday; and much more.

As you dare to venture out into the sunlight on warm comfortable days, know you have many choices to enjoy the great Overland Park outdoors.

Check the city's calendar on its Web site, www.opkansas.org, for more information about events and activities.
