It's free, and for true soccer fans, you can see some outstanding passes, plays and, of course, scores.
The US Youth Soccer National Championships is being held at the Overland Park Soccer Complex, 13700 Switzer.
Boys and girls are participating in pool play today, Thursday and Friday. Based on a point system, teams with the highest points move on to the finals, which are Saturday and Sunday.
College scouts were at the facility on Wednesday looking for prospective players. Parents were obviously cheering for their child's team.
There were plenty of fans just out watching some of the best youth soccer players in the country. In fact, one team lost its best player but not to an injury. He was drafted by a Major League Soccer team.
Parking and admittance are free. If you have a child who plays soccer, bring them out to watch in amazement and learn.
