Overland Park's Arboretum and Botanical Gardens has your tune.

Its July concert series starts Thursday with Americana.

Chris Larios, cornet soloist, performs favorites by American composers, with Kimberly Farrell Scott performing patriotic songs on piano. Each concert is from 6 to 7 p.m., unless otherwise noted, at the Arboretum, 8909 W. 179th St.

Other Thursday concerts include Bravefellow, July 8, modern rock music from a new Kansas City band; Rock, Paper, Scissors, July 15, pop, rock, rhythm and blues; Broadway favorites, July 22, time changed to 5:30-6:30 p.m.; and Latin Jazz Quartet, July 29.

The concerts are free and open to the public.
