Traffic Accident Statistics by Year

Each year, Overland Park reviews statistics from more than 5,000 accidents to find trends or repeat patterns in order to improve safety and reduce the number of collisions in the city.

Statistics include right angle accidents, which are known to cause significant injuries; accidents involving different modes, such as pedestrians or bicycles; and accidents that focus on the type of injury.

Copies of the reports are made available online each June.
