New one and two family homes are inspected to ensure compliance with adopted building codes and erosion and sediment control measures; overflow swales, sidewalks and driveway approaches; and compaction issues related to excavation in the public right-of-way.

General inspection guidelines:

Prior to excavating, erosion and sediment control methods are to be installed. Adjacent lots that are finished (sod or seed) shall be protected. Inlets on the lot or adjacent to the lot shall be protected. No inspection is required.
