Rock or crushed stone not more than 1 inch in diameter must be used for a gravel driveway. It must not contain dirt, sticks, construction debris or other foreign material. Sand, rock powder or other similar material is not prohibited, but it will not be included in the measurement of the minimum gravel depth.
