Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
The city, through the Fire Department, hosts two courses for medical providers, such as paramedics, physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and other professionals, who may respond to cardiac emergencies.
Community Emergency Response Teams
The city, through the Fire Department, provides this 24-hour training course for neighborhood leaders, business owners and others who may need to provide lifesaving skills in the wake of a disaster.
Confined Space Training
This training meets the requirements of OSHA1910.146 and can be tailored to meet the awareness, operations or technician level.
CPR/AED Training
Expect a lot of hands-on instruction in these two courses, which are offered every month.

The Fire Department offers businesses basic, on-site fire extinguisher training.

This popular all-skills course is for small to medium-sized fire departments.
