The middle school/junior high program is a 50 minute interactive lesson that includes a video of a house fire. Students get to put out a real fire after calculating how long it would take to hear the smoke alarm, get out of the house, call 9-1-1, etc.

The video sets the foundation for a discussion about fire safety, including tips on how to cook safely.

To schedule this program, submit a request to the fire department 30-45 days in advance of your desired date.
