Night of the Living Farm - Week 1
Old-fashioned lanterns and carved pumpkins will lead costumed trick-or-treaters through pathways of graves and ghouls at Night of the Living Farm at the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead, 138th and Switzer on Oct. 21-22. More dates available Oct. 28-29.
Activities
From 6 to 9 p.m., families with children of all ages can participate in a:
- Haunted barn;
- Flashlight scavenger hunt;
- Haunted horse-drawn hayride;
- Tractor pulled wagon ride (for little trick-or-treaters);
- Marshmallow roast and campfire; and (due to fire ban, the campfire has been cancelled)
- Halloween dancing stage.
Food
In addition to regular concessions, the Farmstead will have grilled bratwursts, cider, caramel apples and glow-in-the-dark necklaces for sale.
