Employees with this classification:
- Work in a position that is not considered temporary or seasonal.
- Are projected to work at least 1,000 hours per calendar year. However, this is monitored annually and may be re-evaluated and/or reclassified by department directors.
- Will normally work less than a standard work week and may work less than 1,000 hours. Department directors determine the work schedule.
- Are required to participate in the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS).
- May be offered other benefits as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Are subject to all city rules and regulations.
