Underage Drinking Program

A “Wrong of Passage”

Overland Park has created a free program to educate teens and parents about the affects of underage drinking:

A Wrong of Passage is a 26-minute locally-taped video that is geared toward parents and adults. It is presented as part of a 50-minute interactive multimedia presentation, which begins with factual information presented through an un-narrated slide show. Following the video, parents and teens can ask questions of a panel of experts.

Choices is a 19-minute video geared toward a younger teen audience. It is presented in the same format as A Wrong of Passage.

While presentations are provided free of charge, any and all donations will be deposited into the Johnson County STOP Underage Drinking Project account, a tax exempt corporation that supports activities that educate and reduce the incidence of underage drinking.
