The Overland Park Development Corporation was created to oversee the design, construction, operating and financing of the city's Convention Center.

This not-for-profit corporation has five members who are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the Governing Body. Members are residents and members of the City Council; they hold office continuously until death, resignation, termination or removal by the Governing Body.

Meetings generally are held at 6:45 p.m., the first Monday of the month in Conference Room No. 1 of City Hall, 8500 Santa Fe Drive. The public is welcome.
