Downtown Overland Park Partnership, Inc.
The Downtown Overland Park Partnership, Inc. provides services to and within the Business Improvement District to foster, promote and develop the district's economic potential.
Funded by a grant from the city, Business Improvement District fees paid by merchants and event income, the partnership promotes downtown business through various marketing efforts, including the Farmers Market, Downtown Overland Park Days and the mayor's annual holiday tree lighting.
This 501(c)(6) corporation has 24 board members. Two council members are appointed by the mayor; two staff members by the City Manager and 20 are nominated and approved by the board. Members serve three year terms.
Meetings generally are held at 11:30 a.m., the fourth Tuesday at 7315 W 79th Street, downtown Overland Park.
