Code Board of Appeals

The Code Board of Appeals reviews all building and construction code appeals.

Common appeal requests are for building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and fire code requirements.

The board has five members and three alternates who are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the Governing Body. Members serve three year terms.

Meetings are held within 10 days of receiving an appeals application in Conference Room 1 or the Council Chamber of City Hall, 8500 Santa Fe Drive.

The meetings generally are held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday or Thursday, with Wednesday as an alternative, depending on quorum.
